Reverend Doug has been actively involved in the New Thought movement for 25 years. He has spoken in 13 states and 4 provinces in 55 Religious Science Churches along with 10 other New Thought churches. Reverend Doug was the founding minister of the Red Deer Spiritual Enrichment Centre and served as its pastor for 8 years. Reverend Doug is currently guest-speaking in a number of different churches on a regular basis. Doug’s extended ministry involves his work with youths. He speaks in the alternative measures program and on occasion at the young offenders centre as well as in high schools and other youth groups. Doug and his friend Jim bring a message to youth of, "Attitude + Choice = Consequence." Their presentation is presented from a very unique perspective that conveys a powerful message. Doug is an avid hiker and enjoys his time connecting with nature. He, and his partner, Anna, share 7 wonderful grandchildren between them. During those formative years Mr. Darby had many incidents occur in his life that set him solidly on a search for answers to questions about life. Many of these incidents would be described as "miracles" but somehow he knew even then they followed a natural law. Soon schooling set in and these wonders were filed away deep within him as he succumbed to the rituals his parents and teachers demanded of him. Later he found a woman with whom he fell in love. The pair of them raised four children. In his work life Mr. Darby has been involved in business, owning several. Some were failures, leading to even greater searching. Throughout his career Mr. Darby never forgot the nagging pull toward spiritual growth and knowledge. He has spent many thousands of hours in reading and research. He has expended a similar amount of dollars in pursuit of this knowledge and it included travels throughout the world. Slowly his answers came, some from rare books, some from ancient writings not yet seen by many human eyes and a great deal from insight pushed forward from within. As with all humans Mr. Darby has known despair to the depths of human toleration and joy to the point of euphoria. Each taught a lesson. The homespun wisdom apparent in his writings can be taken back to the land though. It was those early years on the open prairie that formed the mission he now advances. In a world torn by wars, strife, the pursuit of the dollar, the failure of every second marriage and the fatherless children that produces it is a welcome relief to sit down and read one or two of his short articles. Mr. Hendrick has performed leading roles in Major Opera Houses throughout the world for over 15 years, including San Francisco Opera, Baltimore Opera, four seasons at the New York City Opera, and Vancouver Opera, to name a few. Pilar began her love of art when she was a teenager in Jr. high school in Tijuana. There she was exposed to many great artists. Quickly, she gravitated towards the beautiful colors and self revelations of famed artists Vincent van Gogh & Frida Khalo. Pilar has since become a prolific painter in her own rite, frequently selling her work before it is even completed. In January of 2006 her paintings will be shown at the STUDIO 5 art gallery in Loomis Ca, (North of San Francisco). Pilar also has created the Spanish Version of Hendrick & Shea’s musical, "Destino". Doug
was born in Canmore, grew up in Exshaw and attended high school
in Banff, Alberta. Doug is currently an instructor in the
Business and Tourism Department at the Southern Alberta Institute
of Technology and teaches courses in financial and managerial
accounting and computer spread sheets along with courses in management,
supervision and organizational behavior. Doug has been at S.A.I.T
for the past 8 years as well as 8-1/2 years in the 80’s.
Doug also had the opportunity to teach a semester in the Shenyang
Institute of Technology in N.E. China. He also is an accomplished
facilitator of a Strategic management Process. 
Mr. Darby was born in 1940 and raised on the prairies of Western
Canada.
Spending much of his youth in the panoramic vistas offered there
he felt the freedom that sprang from a land where there were no
roads, no fences and no telephone poles.

for the World Federation of Healing. Charlie has been a guest on
local TV and radio shows. With evangelical zeal he pioneered the
Madonna Ministry in many countries for 15 years. He has been a guest
speaker from Austria to Australia, from Canada to Mexico. His family
orientation, marriage of 49 years (3 sons + 8 grandkids), business
acumen, love of nature and humor lend to his demeanor as a facilitator.
His hobbies are sculpturing, tennis, skiing, cheering his grandkids

Kera
has been an extra right hand to Dr. Shaler for more than 20 years.
Yep, 20+ years. She has an extensive background in office management,
administration and communications at both non-profit and corporate
levels. Currently, in addition to her work with Dr. Shaler at
YSH and Optimize! Institute, Kera is a freelance graphic designer,
web developer and studying editor with a large family of clients
throughout North America who fill up her time quite nicely. In
her other time, Kera serves on various boards & committees
supporting her local community services. She lives on the beautiful
Sunshine Coast of British Columbia with her partner, Ian, and
her teenage son Luka, and "the boys, zulu & domi".
